We Moved into our New Office Space!

In case you haven’t heard…

WE MOVED!

That’s right – we moved out of our homes and into our very own KB Collective Real Estate office in Wildwood.
It’s a bit comical  since one of our favorite things about Worth Clark Realty is the freedom and flexibility to work when and where we’d like (i.e. no required office hours). But, when your garage is filled to the brim with for sale signs and marketing materials are beginning to take over your kitchen table, it’s time to upgrade. So, we moved and did just that!

First, we found the space.

We began by looking for available space in Wildwood. We were pleasantly surprised by the rental rates and didn’t look long! We found our new space right away. On top of that, our landlord accidentally “double-leased” our unit, so we wound up leasing a space TWICE the size of  what we needed. Talk about positive vibes!

Next, we planned the space and spruced it up.

With the new lease in place, we enlisted the help of our friends, Melinda and Anna, at Olive + Opal Interiors. They designed the layout and created an inspiration board for shopping! We also asked one of our favorite painters, Doug, to add a fresh, cozy coat of gray to the walls. What a difference fresh paint makes!

Then, we went shopping!

While Doug was busy painting, we hit the stores to find the perfect decor. This was so much fun! We had a blank canvas to fill and a solid design plan in place to guide the way! We started at Gateway Online Auctions, a local business that sells Wayfair overstock products at an extreme discount. If you haven’t heard of Gateway yet, you are so welcome! There, we found our two guiding pieces for the whole place – a fabulous area rug and Kait’s desk!

And we continued shopping…

We hit Pier 1Pottery Barn Outlet, World Market, Kirkland’s and At Home, too! It was an exhausting couple of days. Within about 48 hours of getting the keys, we had almost everything we needed to make this place ours.

The last step was putting it all together.

We hired free help – Kait’s husband, Steven, to assemble furniture, hang curtains, artwork, and more! Have we mentioned how much it helps having husbands who jump in and support our biz whenever we need it!?

Finally, we moved in and got to work!

It’s so exciting to have a new location for our weekly meetings and spur-of-the-moment photo shoots. We also have new friends in our neighbors rocking their own local businesses, and even got our first walk-in client. We feel more productive and ambitious than ever before. We are so happy we moved!

Come say hi sometime 🙂
