Get to know Taryn with a fun Q & A below!

Q1: What interested you in real estate?

My brother and dad are both in the real estate industry in the Kansas City area and finally convinced me to make the move. Prior to real estate, I worked in the corporate world, the marketing/social media industry & sports industry and never felt rewarded for the hard work I was putting in. This industry allows me the freedom of making my own schedule and the freedom to create and build a social media presence in my own way. Real estate also allows me to connect with amazing people and help them find their dream home, and there really is nothing more rewarding than that!

Q2: What is your favorite HGTV show?

Flip or flop has always been my fav!

Q3: What is your favorite STL coffee shop?

My two favorites are Goshen in Soulard and Cafe Dolce on the Hill!

Q4: What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be a professional dancer! I danced competitively from 9 years old up until high school.

Q5: Where did you go to high school?

I am from the Kansas City (mo) area – I went to Belton High School

Q6: Do you love Starbucks as much as the KBs?

YES – however I’m more drawn towards local coffee shops and am a huge advocate for supporting small businesses.

Q7: What is your number one travel destination dream?

Australia! I’ve traveled there once for a study abroad trip in college and have been dying to go back ever since!!

Now for her house style…

Carpet or hardwood floors?

Hardwood, but carpet in the bedrooms

Country or city?

City living for me! I love the culture that surrounds city life and all the beautiful older homes!

Open floor plan or divided rooms?

A mix of both! For example – I love a kitchen that flows into a dining room, but I like the idea of the living room space being separated

Light or dark kitchen?

Light

Fixer upper or move in ready?

Fixer upper! I’m lucky to have a contractor as a boyfriend lol I love the idea of making a home unique to my style
